At Pagos, we build tools that do the heavy lifting for you. We ingest and clean your payments data, present it back to you in customizable visualizations, and give you the power to segment and analyze performance however you want. You can deduplicate retries from your dataset, benchmark your metrics against industry peers, and quantify real savings opportunities—all with just a few clicks in the Pagos Insights UI. No engineering tickets, no guesswork.
We also monitor your payments performance for you. With Alerts, our AI-powered anomaly detection service, you get automatic notifications when KPIs like approval rate, transaction volume, or chargebacks shift away from historical norms. No setup required. No. Setup. Required.
But we know your business priorities don’t always look like statistical anomalies. That’s why we’re launching a new beta feature in Pagos Alerts: custom segments and thresholds. You now have the power to define what matters most in your payments data! So while Pagos still monitors on your behalf, you get to tell us where to look.
What’s New: Alert Customization
With this beta release of custom segments and thresholds, you have the flexibility to tailor Pagos to your business priorities without adding complexity. You can now:
Tell us exactly which segments of your data to monitor for anomalies, for example only Visa approvals in LATAM, or declines processed through Braintree
Choose which KPIs matter the most for any given segment (e.g. approval rate, decline rate, transaction count, and more)
Decide how to monitor—rely on Pagos AI’s anomaly detection or set your own thresholds
Once your conditions are set, Alerts works in the background, sending notifications only when those rules are met.

Why This Matters
Your payments stack is complex and your projects many; what counts as good or disappointing performance varies by project, market, payment method, processor, and more. Whether you’re testing changes, monitoring high-risk traffic, chasing growth, or protecting margins, this update gives you the control to monitor performance your way. Catch meaningful changes—even if they’re not statistical anomalies—and stay ahead of any performance issues in high-impact segments. If you’ve set goals for an experiment, track when you’ve hit the target and report back to leadership immediately. With Pagos, you have the fine-tuned data-monitoring capabilities you’ve only dreamed of until now.
Unlocking Data Potential
We’re incredibly excited about what this launch unlocks. Out-of-the-box, Pagos Alerts will continue to keep your payments running smoothly, watching for anomalies across key metrics with no setup required. But now, with segment and threshold customization, you can zoom in on the nuanced, high-stakes corners of your payments ecosystem.
This feature is currently in beta. If you’re ready to take control of your payments monitoring, request access to the beta and start telling Alerts exactly where to look.
